I am so deeply saddened for this news that I had no idea of Jeremy passing until today. It has been 15 years as both my husband & I held different time lines of memories of Jeremy, but discussed him in such high regard. We were recently rememissing of our memories of Jeremy and then discovered that he had passed and I am in disbelief. Jeremy & I were very close in high-school and I understood him in a very deep way. He loved to dance and we would cut up the dance floor for every high-school dance. We supported each other's passion regardless of what anyone thought. We were free of expression regardless of what anyone thought. He was thought of as a trouble maker but I knew he was very passionate about that he stood for and I respected his determination about what he thought was right. He had such a good heart and came from such a good place. My condolences to his wife, children and family, as he was such a wonderful and genuine man. He is truly missed.

Our hearts have been very heavy since we heard the news about Jeromy. We are sorry we did not know in time to visit you as a family at the funeral home. I remember well, that little boy that I thought of as a "teddy bear" with the happy and loving personality, and from reading the thoughts of others, it sounds like that continued on in his grown-up life. Please know that you, Henry and Mary Jane, as well as his wife and two sons, are in our prayers and thoughts. May you all find strength in the good memories of a loved son, husband and Dad, in this difficult time.

I was Jeromy's employment counsellor with the Canadian Mental Health Association. I was shocked and saddened to hear about Jeromy's death. I attended his memorial service early today and was most impressed with the sincerety and simplicity of it.
I met Jeromy just about ayear ago and saw him nearly every week for the next six months. During this time I observed him moving into his own apaprtment, finding new employment at Home Depot, dealing with his seperation from his wife and learning and accepting his menthal health issues. He shed many a tear in my office, at first he was embarrased, stating a big guy like him should not cry but as the time passed he seemed to become quite comfortable with me and his tears.
I was so impressed with the efforts Jermoy put forth, i.e. finding work right away as he refused to live on welfare as he would not have his boys visit a boarding house. He also worked diligently with myself, his doctors and his counsellor in regard to his depression/medications. He truly was on the road to recovery.
He spoke so fondly of his Mom and Dad, so appreciaitve of the support they were giving him. The light in his life were his two little boys, he spoke of them with such love and tenderness.
Jeromy will be truly missed by all those that knew him, I will remember him as a gentle, determined and carismatic man.
