Annette knew our boys from the time they were born and watched them grow over
the years as they joined things at the club. It was always Annette who made us
feel welcome at the club. Annette arranged some very memorable occasions for
us one being my Mom's 70th birthday and then who would have known because she suddenly passed away a few months later and had never been sick. Now if our
boys have their weddings there - it won't be the same...
With gratitude, All the MacPhail's

Dear Debbie
I heard of you Moms passing only today, we wish to send our condolences and sympathy. Your Mom always was welcoming at the Golf Club but I especially remember her warm smile and laugh when we were teenagers full of mischief and
trouble. Please know that she always will be remembered as a warm and loving person. With Deepest Sympathy

Don and I have had the pleasure of knowing Annette for over 25 years.
She has always been very gracious to ourselves and our family; having looked after the details for two weddings and several luncheons. Our prayers and thoughts are with her family at this difficult time.

As a long time visitor to the golf club, I have known ANNETTE for many years.
Her professionalism and dedication to all she came in contact with were second to none and she made every one feel welcome. But more importantly she was a wonderful person and a delight to be around, and she had that special ability of making one feel special.
Coming to the club in the future will not be the same. She was a beautiful person in so many ways and she truly will be missed.

My wife, Phyllis, and I were very sad and reflective upon hearing of Annette's sudden passing. I have know Annette from her's( and mine) 30 years at the St.Catharines Golf Club. She seemed to always be there with her happy, pleasant attitude and smiling face.
Annette was "the Golf Club" to me and my family(including father,BUD, and mother,Carol). There were always so many people coming and going, on a yearly basis, however you could always count on Annette to be around as a constant reminder of how much someone really cared about her job, the people she worked with, and the members of the club that had become family to her.
We will all greatly miss Annette, and the St.Catharines Golf Clib has lost a vital part of it's character and history.

I have only know Annette for a short time, but in that time she has affected me deeply. I believe I am a better person for having her in my life. I looked forward to coming to work everyday knowing that Annette was in and her smile and her laugh would make all of us smile along with her.
This was Annette's second home and I believe we were her extended family. She never wanted credit for the hard work she did, in fact, always wanted all of the staff thanked ahead of her. She cared so much about this Club - the members, staff and guests.
I have a heavy heart and think of you Annette always, I miss you.

Annette was a very special lady. It has been a pleasure to benefit from her grace and charm and considerable talents, which made her such an integral and important part of the St. Catharines Golf and Country Club. She has been one of the central people in no less than three family marriages. Her cheerfulness and enthusiasm made the events even more special. She will be sadly missed.

We first met Annette 30 years ago when we were members of St. Catharines Golf Club. We moved away for 29 years. When we returned, 29 years later, Annette was still there to welcome us. She was always there, Sunday and Holidays, seeing that everything went right. She can never be replaced. We have seen a deterioration in the dining service since she became ill. She was wonderful and looked out for all the members as well as seeing that good food was always provided. We will all miss her greatly. Thanks to her family for allowing her to work so hard and be so very dedicated!
Sincerely, Ann-Marie and Jim Nickerson
