I was so sorry to hear about Lyle's death. My memories go way back when he lived in an apt. at the corner of Russel and Lake St. I was a teenager and alot of us use to go to Lyles cause that was the place to go. There was alot of good times and laughs. I am going back 35 years ago,I lived that lifestyle. I also use to work at Jewels coffee and tobacco shop on King St. and that was when Niagara Glass was right beside me so I also saw Lyle then. Lyle was always kind, had a smile and said hi. Over the years I straightened my life out and I guess Lyle moved out of town but I remember when he came back to this area and I was so glad to see him again cause I always wondered what happened to him. I also live in Thorold so I would see him now and then. My condolence's to all the family. Cheryl Ryce-Smith

So Long Ago
Dear Lyle;
I remember you well and with great fondness. Your smile and rosy cheeks are most vivid in my memories. Over the years, we lose track of the people from our youth. It is sad that we never got to reconnect and share more laughs and memories.
You are remembered my long lost friend. I was shocked and greatly saddened to learn that you are gone.
To those who were close to Lyle in his last years, please accept my heart felt condolences, Lyle was one of the good one.
Sadly,
Brenda Arndt
