Obituary of Nicholas Kozachenko

KOZACHENKO, Nicholas Passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Wednesday, December 3rd at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS at the age of 82. Loving husband of Mary and beloved father of Michael (Paula) and Michele (Phil) Tymoszewicz. Cherished Gido of Gregory, Valerie, Alex, Shelley, Alicia, and Erin. Also survived by sister Mary (Tony) Kuklis, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by son Richard (1997). Nicholas was born in Espanola, Ontario and was the owner and operator of Pyco Heating Supply. Mr. Kozachenko's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, December 5th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church, 91 Lakeshore Road, St. Catharines on Saturday, December 6th at 10am. Panachyda will be recited in the funeral home on Friday at 7:30pm. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will follow the service with a private inurnment at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the St. John Building Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
