Obituary of Lida Lorito

LORITO, Lida (nee DiMaurizio) - Passed away on Saturday November 29, 2008 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Mario Lorito. Loving mother of Frank (Sandi) Lorito, Anna (Fred) Mol and John (Lisa) Lorito. Cherished grandmother of Jody, Joyceln, Brad, Bethanney, Kailey, Matthew, Meghan and Jeremy. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Mary (the late Joe 1986) Gasbarini and Ann (Jack) Halliday and brothers Vic (Jean) and Dino (the late Jo 2001) DiMaurizio and fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Lida was an active member of Club Roma Women's Auxillary and Italo-Canadian Retirees of Club Roma and a former employee of Eatons. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St, on Tuesday December 2, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church on December 3, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. with rite of committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If so desired, donations made to St. Theresa's Missionary or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
