Obituary of Garry Gohm

Gohm, Garry: On Wednesday November 26, 2008 after a brief illness in his 60th year. Beloved husband of Cathy Kerklaan. Loving father of Jason, Travis and his wife Riley, and cherished "Grumpy" of grandson Corey. Garry is survived by his mother Tina, brother Glenn and his wife Bonnie Hall, mother-in-law Nellie Kerklaan, brothers-in-law John and his wife Mickey, Albert and his wife Carol, sisters-in-law Ada Borbath and her husband John, Joanne Shypowskyj and her husband Orest, plus many nieces and nephews, and will be fondly remembered by dear friends Marion and Bert Van der Hulst. Predeceased by father Archie, brother James, and father-in-law Adrian. Garry loved to entertain his friends, go fishing and hunting with the boys, share a good bottle of wine and cheer for the Maple Leafs. Garry is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines, Friends may call on Sunday November 30, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday December 1st at 11 a.m. at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, with cremation to follow. In Lieu of flowers memorial remembrances can be made to Hospice Niagara, and the Canadian Cancer Society.
