I was so sorry to hear of Dean's passing after having known him for many years through university, as my insurance agent and as a friend. I will miss his great laugh and "cutting" sense of humour. If you were feeling down, Dean could always "bring you back up."

Dear Donna & Family
I had the pleasure of working closely with Dean for many years on Lake Street until I moved to the USA in 1996. He was a dear and loyal friend. I am sad that I am not there to show my respect, but know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Dean spoke of great pride and love for his family. He will be missed but we will hold his memory close in our hearts and I am sure that every time we hear Elvis, we will think of Dean. May time ease your pain and you find peace in all of the goodness that he was.

Dean was a very good friend on mine through both the insurance and curling communities.
I will miss very much our monthly lunch where we would discuss the current state of the sports world and the goings on in Canada and the world.
The Montreal Canadians have lost of one of their most loyal and ardent fans, Dean would arrange virtually everything in his day so as not to miss the action of a Habs game. As I am a Leafs fan we would engage in spirited and friendly debate, the opportunity to trash to the other's team was rarely overlooked. Dean had a unique and engaging way of expressing his opinion which I enjoyed and made each banter truly fun. Please know that Dean will be sadly missed by his friends and the groups he supported in St.Catharines.

Dear Donna,
I knew your brother through curling. We raised many $$$$ for the "Curl for Cancer" with Henry Burgoyne, Jan Cook, Neil Dixon, Wayne Fenwick, Bernie MacAdam, Tom Graves, Les Walton to name a few. Dean was definitely not the sharp shooter on the ice but he made up for it off the ice. Know that your brother made a difference to our community in many ways.
Fondly,
Marilyn C. Bodogh
