Obituary of Daniel Robert Gilmour

Gilmour, Dan - On Saturday May 11, 2013 at the age of 50 at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Younger brother to Gary (Laura) of Victoria, B.C. Uncle to Dustin and Nathan. Nephew to Gordon (Carolyn) and Shirley. Survived by his cousins Nancy (Joe), Michael (Jodie), Doug (Dorothy), Brad (Joanne), and Stephanie (Oskar) as well as the Bohnet family, aunts, uncles, and cousins in Victoria, B.C. Predeceased by his parents, Bert and Gwennie, and uncle Tim. Dan was the proud owner of Toth Auto in St. Catharines for twenty years, had a passion for music, gardening and lacrosse and was a huge fan of his beloved Oilers. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday between 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Charity of one's choice in Dan's honour.
