Obituary of Clair Edley Wilson

WILSON, Clair E. - Passed away with his loving family at his side on Monday, November 24th,2008 at Hospice Niagara at the age of 68. Loving husband of Barbara (Fisher) Wilson. Predeceased by his first wife Sandra. Loving father of Sue Wilson-Sexsmith, favorite son in law Kevin, Deb (Fisher) Gerstmar, Glenn Armitage (Barbara), Shelley Setford, Susan Weaver (Gary). Predeceased by daughter Catharine Lukosius and son Michael John Fisher. Special grandfather of Chloe, Natalie, Paige, Meagan, Alanna, Miranda, Cassandra, Dale, Stephanie, Lisa and Andrea. Brother of Fred (Joan), Don (Anne), Earnie (Linda) and Noriene Parsons, all of Oshawa. Brother in law of Ron (Bonnie) Jackson. Clair was retired from Yellow Freight and Ed Learn Ford. A heart felt thank you to all our friends for their help, love and support throughout Clair's illness. A special thanks to Dr. David Henry, Dr. Hughes and staff at the Oncology Department, CCAC, especially Nancy Solohub, and all the staff at Hospice Niagara. Clair is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 11a.m.Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
