SPENCE, Andrew William - On Sunday March 21, 2010 at the St. Catharines General Hospital surrounded by his loving family, Andrew William Spence passed away at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Joan for 39 years. Loving Father of Andrew (Peggy) of B.C., Adam (Aimee) and Derek (Amy) of St. Catharines. Dear Grandfather of Preston and Allister. Brother of Allan (Pastora) of Australia. Predeceased by his parents Andrew and Irene Spence of Greenock, Scotland. Andrew was born June 14, 1946 in Greenock, Scotland and moved to Toronto in 1971, and in his later years to St. Catharines. He worked in his professional trade of plumbing & steamfitting/welding for 40 years across Canada. A devoted family man, his wonderful teachings and life lessons will always be cherished. Our world is not the same without you. You will be solely missed Big D, we are truly saddened. We love you with all our hearts. George Darte Funeral Chapel 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines have been entrusted with the arrangements for Mr. Spence. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his life will be held in the funeral home on Saturday March 27, 2010, at 11.a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances made to the charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
