Obituary of Euan Brian Sharp
Sharp, Euan: On Tuesday March 16th, 2010 the world lost a piece of it's heart when Euan passed away peacefully at the Toronto General Hospital in his 38th year during his heart transplant operation. Euan was a uniquely strong and passionate individual that truly lived life to it's fullest. Euan's zest for life allowed him to see this world differently than many people, truly caring for all types of life big and small. Although born with a congenital heart disease, Euan had a stronger heart than most people in this world. Throughout his life he touched many people with his loving and caring personality, and although he lived with a weakened heart, he never shyed away from donating little pieces to everyone along the way, leaving a part of him within all of us. He was a colourful character that enjoyed surrounding himself with many wonderful people that all held a special place in his heart. Euan will be dearly remembered by his devoted parents Brian and Maureen, his sister Gail (Dean) Noiles, and brother Greg. Euan was a beloved uncle to Caileigh and Cameron. Euan is survived by his aunt Yvonne cousins Jason, James, Linda and Brian, aunt Helen, uncle Ian, cousin Amy, aunt Caroline of Scotland and his dear friends John and Shelly. Predeceased by his beloved uncle Glen Guthrie, uncle George Mellis and his grandparents George and Betty Mellis, and Catherine and David Sharp. The Sharp family would like to thank the skilled and dedicated staff of both the Toronto General Hospital and Sick Kids Hospital that have been so influential in keeping him with us for the 37 wonderful years. Funeral arrangements for Euan have been entrusted to the George Darte Funeral Chapel 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Toronto Sick Kids Hospital Foundation or the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre at the Toronto General Hospital in memory of Euan.
