Obituary of Shirley Adelene Reynolds
REYNOLDS, Shirley Adelene (nee Trapp)- It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Shirley, at 56 years of age, at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Sunday, February 14th, 2010. Shirley endured her battle with pancreatic cancer with grace and dignity. We are comforted to know her father, Jack Trapp (January 1, 2010) will be waiting for her with open arms. The best mom ever will always be loved and dearly missed by her children, Corey, Kyle and Amy and her grandson Nathan. Dear sweetheart of Ian Purdie. Beloved daughter of Adelene Trapp and cherished sister of Sharon (Vaughn) Stewart and Sharlene (Bob) Scott. Very special aunt of Kate, Megan and Lee Stewart; Emily, Colin and Cameron Scott. Shirley will be missed by her special friends, the paternal grandmother of her grandchildren, Shirley Reynolds and her loving cousin Marianne Kond. Her kind and gentle spirit will be missed by her family at the Lincoln and Welland Regiment; her friends and neighbors and her colleagues and customers at Shopper's Drug Mart.
Shirley is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 7-9p.m and Thursday from 3-4:00p.m. A Celebration of Shirley's Life will take place on Thursday at 4:30p.m. in the funeral home chapel. A private family interment will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
