Obituary of Wally Frank Walcer

WALCER, Wally Frank-Passed away suddenly at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS on Friday January 29, 2010 at the age of 75. Devoted father of Audrey (Fabian), Elaine (Bob), Sonny (Krista) and Linda (Doug). Predeceased by his wife Lillia of 50 years and his children Roland (1960) and Shirley (1993). Papa to Dayna, Derrick, Diandra, Emily, Carson, Cooper, Samantha, Logan and David. Survived by his father Joseph Walcer of Port Alberni, B.C. He will be sadly missed by his many lifelong friends, and friends from the rock, gem, and stamp clubs. Wally's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10-10:45 a.m. with a Funeral Liturgy without Mass to follow in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Shirley Walcer Talking Book Library-Saanich Peninsula Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
