Obituary of Ronald Richard Fisher

FISHER, Ron ("Fish")- Passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 28th, 2010 at his residence at the age of 67. Beloved husband and long time companion of Peggy. Cherished father of Richard (Barb), April (Syl), Robin (Mark), Ricky, Stephen (Leanne), and Steve (Cathy). Special papa to Amber,Travis, Kyle,Michelle, Garrett, Ashton, Eric, Nathan, Alex, Joshua, Rachel and Adam. Ron will be sadly missed by his brother, his sisters and his nieces, nephews and friends. He was retired after many years of service at Niagara Structural Steel (T.I.W.) Ron, a member of The Beachcombers will be remembered for his fondness of fishing, bowling, baseball, darts, card playing, working on his home and of course his great love for his grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. As per Ron's wishes there will be no visitation or service. The family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St Catharines on Thursday, February 4th from 1-3p.m. in the Kristen French Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
