Obituary of Augustine Leonard Goodine

GOODINE, Augustine Leonard " Len" - Passed away at his home, surrounded by his wife, family and K9 friend Peanut who kept vigil over him on Sunday January 24, 2010 at the age of 61. Beloved husband of Marilyn. Loving father of Darryl (Louise) and step father of Todd (Katrina). Len was also an adored grandfather and uncle. Cherished son of Edna (the late Sandy) Goodine. Brother of Jimmy and Susan of Toronto and Brenda (Raymond) of New Brunswick. He will be fondly remembered by his sister in law, Sonja. Pre deceased by his brother Robert. Len worked at Overland Express for 39 years as a truck driver. He loved fishing, hunting and spending his holidays on Manitoulin Island and Jacquet River, New Brunswick. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Wednesday January 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Len's life will be held on Thursday January 28 at 11 a.m. in the chapel with cremation to follow. If so desired, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
