Obituary of Helen Margaret Sangster

SANGSTER, Helen Margaret - Passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday January 9, 2010 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late William James (1954). Loving mother of Jean (the late Mervyn) Mann, Ken Sangster, Dorothy (Claude) Gagne, Mary (Jim) Murr, Margaret (John) Unwin and Edna (Don) Houser. Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Helen will be fondly remembered by her sister Lorraine Rodtka. Predeceased by her brother-in-law Eldred and son-in-law Merv. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Saturday January 23, 2010 from 11 a.m. until the time of a Celebration of Helen's life at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Private family inurnment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations made to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by her family.
