Obituary of Florence Ellen Danks

DANKS, Florence Ellen (nee Bradley) - Passed away peacefully at the Port Colborne General Hospital in her 93rd year. She was predeceased by her husband Albert Edward Danks (1986). She will be sadly missed by her daughter Joan Stafford of St. Catharines, son Herbert Danks and daughter in-law Diane Danks of St. Albert, Alberta. Lovingly remebered by her 7 grandchildren and their spouses and 16 great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her sister and close companion Maude Peacock, as well as her nieces and nephews. Before moving to St. Catharines, Florence lived in Ancaster for many years. She was also Matron of the Ancaster Eastern Star. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Florence's life will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Friday January 8, 2010 at 11:00a.m. with inurnment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Knox Presbyterian Church.
