Obituary of John Trapp

TRAPP, John (Jack) - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of "Jack" on Friday, January 1st, 2010 at his residence at the age of 76. Cherished father of Shirley Reynolds, Sharon (Vaughn) Stewart and Sharlene (Bob) Scott. Husband of Adelene Trapp. Devoted and loving grandfather of Corey, Kyle and Amy Reynolds; Kate , Megan and Lee Stewart; Emily, Colin and Cameron Scott. Poppie will be dearly missed by his little fishing buddies. Special great grandfather of Nathan Reynolds. Jack will be sadly missed by his brothers Ken and Bill and his sister June. He was a proud Canadian and retiree from General Motors, and was a dedicated member of the Tim Hortons Corner Coffee Club. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday from 7-9p.m. and Thursday from 2-4p.m. A Celebration of Jack's Life will take place on Thursday at 4p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Memorial donations to the Juravinski Cancer Center would be appreciated by the family.
