To Kevin & Allyson's family,
I was in shock to hear of her passing. We in the Quilt world have lost a talent that will never be replaced. I fortunately have several pieces of her work which I will treasure, and when I look at them will remember her always. She always put a part of herself in every quilt, and always did something in it to make the maker feel special.
She is now in a better place, and will never be forgotton when so many have reminders of her special talents.

Please let me first extend my condolence to Alison's son Kevin. I also want to express my sympathies to Alison's mother Patricia whom I remember, warmly; siblings Amelia, Phil, and Jane, with whom I shared wonderful experiences with at Lakeport H.S. and the St. Cath. rowing club, (as I also did with Alison); and also to Nancy, Miriam, Frances, and Christine. Having very recently lost one of my four brothers I do realize how much you will miss Alison. I proudly display a photo in my den of Lakeport's 1970 135 lb. eight with Phil and me in the picture. Although many years have gone by it passes my view often enough to reaquaint me with those fond rememberances of the entire Tregunno family. Let me offer my very best wishes to each and every one of the Tregunno family and extended families. Sincerely, Richard Pinder

Dear Kevinn, Sheeba & family,
I am so very sorry for the sudden loss of your mom, Ally. She was a good, true and honest friend to me. We both "stretched" each other's creative boundaries. She was so happy for the stockings I made for her & Sheeba a couple of years ago and then the Happy Howladays wallhanging last year.
I will miss my friend, my good, dear friend who helped me in dealing with the loss of my precious daughter, Cassie. Your mom was a kind, compasonate person who loved you so very very much.
Heaven has another bright shining star.....She will rest in peace. Love, Betty

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Alison's passing. I went to high school with Amelia and Alison and remember her as a spunky, headstrong, personal hero. Years later I encountered her shortly after the birth of her son, and was impressed by how strongly she expressed her devotion to him. As time passed, I would occasionally encounter her and she seemed to maintain that independent, youthful spirit. My sincere condolences to her son, to Mrs. Tregunno, her brothers and sisters and her many friends, who have indeed lost someone very special.

Dear Kevin,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you; we are so sadden by this tragic news.
What we all remember is the way you spoke so fondly of your Mother, the love, respect and how you admired her so much makes you the incredible person you are today.
To hear you say your Mom was your Best Friend, is what all Mothers wish for when they born a child. Kevin, you made your Mom's wishes come true, you were an incredible son that she loved and was proud of. May her spirit, love, determination and kindness live on within your heart forever. My thoughts and prayers go out to you Kevin. I've known you a short time but never has it been so apparent to me how much somebody could love their mother! I think it's the one thing that everybody knows about you. I always say that God invites the extra special, good intentioned ones to the kingdom of heaven before their time because he needs good souls up there. You will meet with her again one day and trust that she is around all the time, still with you always but merely without a body as a vessel. God Bless You. - Charlotte
