Obituary of John Martin

MARTIN, John- Passed away with his loving family by his side on Thursday December 17th, 2009 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 82. John has gone to join his beloved late wife Louise. Beloved father of Stanley ( Joan) Martin, Joan (Charlie) Stevens and Joy (Bill ) Durand. Cherished brother of Cee, Russ and Rosemary. Brother in law and friend of Lil Cravy. Special grandfather of Nicholas (Kelly), Kevin (Melissa), Bill Jr. (Lisa) , Sean, Matthew and Christopher. Loving grandfather of the late Benjamin Durand. John will be missed by his great grandchildren Faith, Anna and Nathan. Best friend to his dog Buddy. Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, (905)- 937-4444. A private family service will take place at a later date with interment in Montreal to follow. Memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
