The memories of Port Dalhousie baseball come to mind when I think of my memories! He would be at every game we had - not matter what! He was #1. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

I was extremely distraught to learn of Mr. Walchuk†™s passing. Peter was one of my favourite IceDogs Season Ticket Holders and as loyal as could be. He always greeted me with a smile and any time there was a bus trip, I would be sure to see him on it.
I would often hear him up above me at the rink voicing his displeasure to the referees anytime there was a questionable call or he felt that we had been wronged, which was always enjoyable. He may not have been the loudest fan in the rink, but he was definitely one of the more vocal and I know we all appreciated it.
We here at the IceDogs will certainly miss his smile and voice at the games. It won't be the same without him.
On behalf of myself and the entire IceDogs organization, we would like to offer our deepest sympathys to the entire Walchuk family.

I can't explain the thought of losing a brother, but to the rest of the family, I want you to know what a beautiful man your husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather was. he was a saint. I have special memories that seem to hover around the age of eight. At eight years of age my brother came to me and told me I was going to be a cub, IE cub scout. He would be my Akela, cub leader. I had a great time in cubs, the 9th pack, although I hated wearing the wool sweater. Pete was older than I was so nobody would believe he was my brother. Also at eight he bought what looked like tons of fireworks. Best Victoria Day I ever had. God Bless You. Love, Your little Brother.

I was saddened to read of Mr. Walchuk's passing. I remember he always had such a warm and welcoming smile. My mum and dad, Vera and Donld Evans, were very good friends. Your wedding was the first ceremony I ever attended and even though I was quite little, I remember being there very vividly. You were very supportive when dad and mum and my sister Carol passed away and that meant a great deal. You are a loving and kind family and we send our deepest sympathy to you all. I know you have wonderful memories that will live in your hearts always. Sincerely sympathy, Jane and Denis Levesque.

Dear Mrs. Walchuk and family, We are very sorry to hear of Peter's passing, he was a friend of ours a few years ago, when we lived in Niagara Falls. He was a very personable fellow, he tried to help my husband get a specialist to care for him, but we already had family looking in Toronto and we moved there, before Peter could reach us.He had asked his doctor to look at my husband and he agreed. We thought Peter was wonderful to go to all that trouble for us. We played cards with Peter a few times a week. We always looked forward to seeing him. He was always in high spirits, and just a nice man to know. Our deepest sympathy, Dave and Pat Skidmore

To Mrs. Walchuk, Peter, Danny and families. I will always remember Mr. Walchuk as such a kind and generous man. Always with a smile on his face, always such a strong believer in his faith, always so proud of his family. I can only imagine how your hearts must be so broken at this moment. His legacy lives on through all of you; his love and exuberance for life easily shows through you and your actions. xo
