My sincerest condolences to all the family and many friend of Jeanette. I was lucky to have known her for a while and during that time I enjoyed her no-nonsense approach to life and people. Despite hardships and being an early widow, I always admired how she gave of her time by taking in many foster kids during very difficult times in their young lives. She did not just provide food and shelter but she provided a home for them. I believe that she saved many of these kids one of whom I can personally attest to. I have seen this generous selflessness passed on to her own children. Many of these foster kids took to calling her "Mum" which was very appropriate, even to this day. She was the matriarch to a large family. There were a few occasions which I was privy to and I can honestly say that I had fun and felt welcomed by each of them. My heart goes out to all of them this day and always. I know she will be missed. I had not seen Jeanette in quite a few years but I always thought of her. I am sad at the passing of an amazing woman but at the same time I feel privileged to having known her. God Bless You Jeanette. I won't ever forget you!

Dear Lucien, Louis, Suzanne, Carol, Patti & families,
We wish we could be with you to share in your sorrow but know that we grieve with you from afar. May time and the sharing of "funny" stories of your Mom leave you all with fond memories and a smile. (Aunt Jeannette: I will miss your sense of humour and "tell it like it is approach". Rest in peace, Love JoAnn)

Please accept our condolences for your loss. We will always have fond memories of "grandma"...I can still hear her voice, the unmistakable horsey voice with her comments that make you do a double-take, wondering "Did she actually say that?".
We regret that we are unable to pay our respect to her in person but please know that our thoughts are with Suzanne and the rest of the family during this difficult time.
