Obituary of Catherine Elizabeth McMullen

MCMULLEN CATHERINE ELIZABETH (KAY) nee: Calvert Peacefully after a lengthy illness at the age of 76, on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at Versa Care Centre. Loving and gentle mother of Debbie, Jim (Jeannette) and grandchildren Leeann and Laura. Also survivied by her brother Arthur Calvert, sister in law Marj McMullen of Owen Sound, and brother in law Jack Yeo of Thunder Bay. Predeceased by her husband Orley (1980), parents Edward and Alma Calvert (nee: Wallace), cherished aunt Jean Barnes and cousin Eleanor Rhody. Her tender and quiet manner will be missed by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. on Friday Novemeber 27 from 1-3pm. A service to celebrate Kay's life will be held in the chapel at 3pm. Interment in Victorai Lawn Cemetery. If desired donations to the Parkinsons Foundation would be appreciated by the family. The family wish to extend a heartfelt thank you the staff of Versa Care Centre and Dr. Chauhaun for their excellent care of our mother during her stay.
