Dear Helen, Paul, Keith and families.
We offer you our sincere sympathy and God's help in your time of grief. It was always a treat to spend time with Phil and we had great affection for him. I think of him every time I wind my grandfather clock because he so attentively fixed it and taught me how to keep it working accurately. He will always be in our prayers.

Dear Helen,
Our sincere condolences to you and your family regarding the loss of one of my"Never Forget Friends" that started in 1968 when I met Phil and got involved in the Twinning Project with his guidance as the operator of the Esquire Hotel in St.Catharines. Did go to Trinidad and Tobago with the first Canadian contingent, which was a fantastic exposure to lifestyle and Steel Band Music in Trinidad. Thru Phils futureistic plan to help St.Catharines tourism blossom. I catered and hosted the Steel Bands each year they came up bringing their supporters to see the real Canada.
Joyce and I will always cherish your Travel Agency setting up and selling out the trip to Thailand, Hong Kong, etc.. Your hosting along with your local contacts made this particular venture a dream come true.
We moved from St. Catharines 20 years ago to a community on Lake Simcoe, called Lagoon City, which has 9 miles of man made canals throughout. Its been a great lifestyle here.
On our periodic trips back to the Niagara area we look at your old Travel office location, wondering where you folks got to. We hoped one day we would cross paths, now Phil has passed on to the Grand Lodge above ( I am a Brother of Phils and also a Noble Shriner)
Don't know your home address or phone #. If in a position to reply to us be great to chat or meet you on our next trip down.
Fraternal regards, Jack and Joyce Aitken, our phone # 705 484 5065, e-mail aitkenj@rogers .com

Mrs. Atteck, Keith and Paul
My sincerest sympathy goes out to you and your families. Keith, many years have passed since the wonderful days of the Wawel dance group and the fond memories I have from the Folks Arts Festival where I would see your father at every open house. But my best memories would be when he performed his magic for us at the Polish Hall Christmas parties when I was just a little girl. Your husband, father and grandfather was truly a very special person that always made others smile. He will be missed.

Dear Helen and family...
I was saddened to hear of Phil's passing and it brought back many memories of the three of us meeting up and talking politics and vision for the city. I will miss seeing him at the Folk Arts Festival.
Unfortunately I will be out of town on Wednesday and won't be there for the celebration of his life, but my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family at this time.
Be well...

To Mr. Atteck's family
I am a Home Support Worker and visited Mr Atteck a few weeks back when he needed assistance in his home.
It was truly an honour to meet this man, as he was quite obviously a very very accomplished individual who has a great deal to be proud of in his life. During my visit Mr Atteck told me about different things he had done in his lifetime, and I was very taken aback that one person could be so successful in so many different avenues.
At this time, I would like to send my thoughts your way. I wish you all strength in what must be an extremely difficult time in your lives with such a great loss.
Take care.

Helen and Family, We wish to pass along our thoughts and Prayers to all of you. Phil was great person to work with . I have lasting memories of him with his magic acts at our Niagara Peninsula Amateur Radio Clubs functions. His twinnig process with the City of Port of Spain and ham radio playing a large part in that project. He was always "beaming" when working, smiling, and grand person to spend time with. There is a saying in the amteur radio circles, "His key is silent now, but his memory is 599." (meaning is radio is off but his memory is very strong, just like his radio signal to the world.)God Bless... Dave and Elaine Digweed VE3FOI

Helen I send you and your family my most sincere condolences. Though it has been many years since I have seen Phil face to face I had talked to him a few times on the phone over the years and was always happy to hear his voice. I have always held him in the highest regards and with the fondest memories. When I was a child and watched his magic shows at the N.P.A.R.C. Christmas parties or enjoyed it when you and him would stop by the house and he'd get playing his harmonica's on his own or with my grandfather. He seemed to live to bring joy and excitement to everyone around him and I will surely miss him.
I truly believe that I can say that Phil has been one of the greatest and most positive influences in both St. Catharines and throughout the whole of the Niagara Region. He is a man that should be remembered by all for his life long contributions he made to our communities. And I must thank you Helen and your family for being kind enough to have shared him with us over the years.
