My deepest condolences go to Carol, Kevin & rest of Brian's family.
I first met Brian when i began working at Prudhommes (Victoria Hall) in 1984 as a banquet waitress. I was just 17 years old & it was my first job. Brian was the General Manager working for the Fowler family. I remember many parties at the hall where Brian would lend a hand in the kitchen. In an assembly line with Peter Fowler & the Kitchen team, Brian would help get the meals trayed up for the banquet staff to serve. Brian was always fun & i always had a great time working with him. Wet 'n Wild water park picnics were fun too. We'd load the Prudhommes van & drive to the park grounds to serve company picnics. Through out the years we would always bump into each other at JJ Kapps at the Parkway or at the Holiday Inn whether it was to arrange Radio time or when Brian would bring Carol for drinks, we would always remenisce about the good times we had, laughing & joking. Sadly the Victoria Hall burned down this year...but now i'm even more saddened to say good bye to Brian too. Even though the hall is now gone & many other things have changed too, i will never forget Brian's energy, enthusiasm & overall impact he has made on me...i will miss you Brian!

So sorry to hear of Brian's passing. Dave & I both worked with Brian at CHSC so many years ago. Our second apartment was in the same building as Anne & Brian. Kim (you were the little girl we knew) Our children have grown since then as I know Brian's have. We still visit St. Catharines & visited Bugsy's a while back & wondered how Brian was. Anne & Brian were an important part of our memories in the 60's. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.

I knew Brian back in the days of the Castle, when we were part of a group called "B.B. and The Bandits", in which he was a singer. Still have one old picture of him as part of that. He was a nice guy then, and continued to be over the years. My thoughts go out to his family and all that new him. He will be missed.

What a guy! What a life! Brian brought so many smiles to a multitude of people. The old town will never be the same again. The chicken wings he perfected at Bugsy's served with a side order of perogies were a staple of good times. His voice over the radio airwaves, his community presence and involvement throughout the years made Brian Baker a name well known in the Niagara area. We all mourn his loss and cherish the memories of good times. My thoughts and sympathy are with his family. He left us too soon.

Our deepest sympathy to Kim, Kelly, Kevin and family on the loss of your Dad. We worked at Bugsy's during it's "prime" . Kim worked in the kitchen when she was quite young, but I'm sure Kelly & Kevin wouldn't remember us. Just wanted you to know we are thinking of you all, Stan, your Mom, Aunt Eileen, Sandy. SINCERELY, Linda, Jackie, Brenda & Danny.

My condolences to the family. I remember Brian for his days at CHSC radio and his days working with his father. I was on staff at the radio station and shared many stories with Brian over the years. I now live in Kelowna BC or I would have been there to celebrate Brian life.

Brian Baker's life can be described in two words. He was Passionate...about broadcasting, about his community, and about his politics. In the 35 years that we knew Brian, we didn't know him any other way. Not only was he passionate, he was compassionate, giving freely of his time. He will be sorely missed by everyone whose lives he touched, and it is a very long list.
Forever remembered, Kevin & Renate Hodges
