Obituary of Roger Savarie

SAVARIE, Roger Fernand Passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Henderson Hospital in his 70th year. Only child of Lea and the late Gilbert Savarie. Beloved husband of Elizabeth. Loving father of Rick, Guy, Danny and Dave and cherished father in law of Lorrie, Christine and Lisa. Roger will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Christopher, Rochelle, Shanna, Zachary and Samuel. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Friday, August 7, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 10:30a.m. in the funeral chapel. If so desired, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
