Obituary of David John Roberts

ROBERTS, David- It is with extreme sorrow that the family announces the tragic and untimely passing of their cherished husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend David Roberts on Monday, July 27, 2009 at the tender age of 49. David is survived by his loving wife Anna Roberts, his mother Annie Roberts (predeceased by his father Edwyn Roberts) and his brother Robert "Bobbie" Roberts of Manhattan, New York. He is also survived by his loving children Daniel (Roz) Roberts and Erika Roberts both of Ashcroft, B.C., and Brigette Roberts (Joseph Galuchon) of St. Catharines. He also leaves behind his precious grandsons Brandon Roberts and Gage Roberts. David will also be sadly missed by his in-laws as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. David will always be remembered for his incredible sense of humour, his extreme love and devotion to his family, his compassion for his fellow man, his strong work ethic, his excellent artistic and creative cooking skills and his unyielding passion for Nascar. David touched the lives of many during his short stay here on earth and God is lucky to have acquired such a wondrous new angel. In accordance with David's wishes, cremation has taken place with no visitation or service. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the St. Catharines Minor Hockey Association.
