Please accept the warmest wishes and heartfelt condolences of all of the Pesando family at this most difficult time. My father Mario remembers Tillie clearly, especially from his childhood when my father's family would visit their friends in "the South." Dad told me how my grandfather Jocko Pesando of Huntsville babysat Tillie on the boat over from Italy.
Tillie is one of the last members of that heroic and unsung generation that did so much for all of those who came later. May she find eternal peace and happiness.
