Obituary of Paul Douglas Byck
BYCK PAUL:
Suddenly, on Thursday July 8th, 2010 at the St Catharines Genral Hospital, at 55 years of age. Beloved husband of Mary Ellen for more than 34 years. Loving father of Erin (Russell), Patrick (Jen) and Jason. Paul is survived by his mother Emily Byck, his siblings Bob (MaryEllen), Ted (Madeline), Ron, Elizabeth (Peter), Peter (Carla), David (Carolyn), sister in law Leslie (Gerry) Levesque, brothers in law Phil Dechene, Lorne (Cathy) Dechene, Rick (Joanne) Dechene and dear friends Paul and Karen Toffanello, he will be sadly missed by many neices nephews and friends. Paul had a love for all sports but nothing could top his love for the Chicago Blackhawks, as he even wore his Jersey from 30 years ago when the won the cup this year. He had a snarkcastic sense of humor, loved to travel, and spend time with his family.
Paul is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines, where a service will be held on Monday July 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Memorial remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
