Obituary of Roy Edward Green

GREEN Roy, Passed away peacefully, on Monday, May 31st, 2010, at the St Catharines General Hospital, at 82 years of age. Beloved husband of Laurette for 42 years. Loving father of Kevin (Lisa), Laurie-Anne and Larry. Devoted grandfather of Vanessa. Dear brother of Evelyn and Charlie. Cherished brother in law of Germaine and Lou. Special uncle of Terry. Roy will be lovingly remembered by everyone who knew him. He was a renowned country music artist in the Niagara region for over 50 years, who was involved in many charitable community events. Previous owner of Roy Green Fire Extinguishers. Family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Roy's life will be held in the chapel of Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Hwy 20, RR #1, Fonthill, on Friday at 1 pm. Special thanks to Dr. Gruber and Dr. Chauhan.
