I never knew Mrs Marathe, but Dr Eknath Marathe was one of the teachers at Grantham HS; while he was not one of my teachers, I remember him as being a very kind man. I just wanted to express my condolences to Dr Marathe, his children, grandchildren and extended family, and wish them peace and healing.

Dear Mr. Marathe, Aruna (Gordon), Sanjay, James, Janaki and family. I was truly saddened to hear of Mrs. Marathe's passing. She was a friend to all and loved meeting and learning about other people. I will remember her very fondly - a very genuine, lively and talented person who loved cooking, gardening, reading and engaging in lively discussions. Foremost was her pride in her children and grandchildren. Our sincere condolences during this very difficult time. Much love, Sucheta, Bilzac and Neha
