Obituary of Lawrence Edward Norton

NORTON, Lawrence Edward (Larry) Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Eva for 51 years. Loving father of Cathy (Steve) Hoban, Michael (Joanne) of Alberta and Christine (Todd) Watson. Cherished grandpa of Melissa (Fletcher) Nichol, Victoria, Jonathan, Patrick, Ryan, Darren and great-grandpa of Claire and Eric Nichol. Lawrence is survived by his siblings, cousins and family. Lawrence's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited Thursday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Denis Catholic Church, corner of Lake St. and Carlton St. Entombment to follow Mass at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
