TYSZKO Sabina (nee Lubczynska)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sabina Tyszko, in her 83rd year on Monday, May 10, 2010. She died peacefully at Douglas Memorial Hospital, Fort Erie. Loving wife of 50 years to the late Alexander Tyszko, beloved mother of Dennis, Leslie and Diana (William Whitehead). Also dear grandmother of Shelby Van Sickle and Olivia Whitehead. Sabina is survived by her loving sister Regina Meder of Saskatchewan. Sabina was born in Poland June 19, 1926 and immigrated to Canada in 1948, residing most of her life in St. Catharines. She was an employee of General Motors for 35 years. The family will receive friends at GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Friday, May 14, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate St., Saturday at 9:45 a.m. Rite of committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 3:30 p.m. In memoriam, contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Oxfam would be appreciated by the family.
