MacMillan, Joseph Clifford -
February 14, 1931 to May 5, 2010
Passed away suddenly at the St. Catharines General Hospital.
Beloved husband of Marjorie for 59 years. Loving father of Christine Santiago, Michael (Donna), John (Sabrina), Leanne, Paula (Stephen), Andy (Nadine), Dan (Moira) and Abbie. Proud grandfather of Leigh (Melody), Alisa (Fred), Erin, Moriah, Kaitlin, Jodie, Matthew, Alexandra, Ian, Michael, Cameron, Eilis. Also survived by his sister Gail O'Reilly. Cliff was predeceased by his brother James, sister-in-law Mary and his brother-in-law John O'Reilly.
Cliff was employed by the St Lawrence Seaway as an electrician for many years until his retirement. He was a volunteer for a number of good causes and particularly enjoyed donning his Santa Claus costume at Christmas for seniors and youngsters alike. He will be remembered by many as a hockey coach for the CYO. He was a good friend to many and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
In accordance with Cliff's wishes cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Sunday, May 9 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Mass will take place at Star of the Sea Church, Port Dalhousie on Monday, May 10 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association- supporting the Children Camps would be greatly appreciated.
