We are thinking of you at this time and remembering your father and grandfather. His big booming voice and laugh is what we recall when we first met him years ago. Our hearts go out to you and wish we could be with you all.

Wasaga Beach Memories
Wow, what a wonderful man. Although Art was truly my Dads uncle, to my brother, sister and I, we always called him "Uncle Art", and naturally, his beautiful wife we called "Aunt Doris". As youngsters, we didn't get to visit the homestead in St. Catharines very much, however we met quite often in the summer months at Wasaga Beach. I always looked forward to seeing Uncle Art...I knew he would have something funny to say and put a smile on my face. I can still hear his "ha ha ha" laugh. He always asked how I was doing, AND showed a genuine interest. He taught me alot about waiting for items to "go on sale" before I made the purchase, unless of course I had a coupon! He also proved to me how riding a bicycle around the beach not only was good exercise, but could save money from unwanted gasoline expenses, AND be rather profitable at the same time, as long as I was willing to get off the bike and pick up the beer and pop bottles....
Again, a truly wonderful man, with wonderful traits.....traits that I work towards, and some which I continually strive to maintain.
I know I will still feel his presence, especially at Wasaga Beach, and I may even see him riding his bike past the cottage.
