Very sorry to hear of Richard's passing. We grew up together in the north end of Halifax. I hadn't seen Richard in over 30 years but I'm sure he's playing his clarinet somewhere! My thoughts and prayers go out to his daughters.

My Uncle Rick
My Uncle Rick was always my wild and crazy Uncle. He always loved to have a good time and make people laugh. I never knew what he was going to do and I loved the anticipation. One of my favorite gags is when he and my dad would page someone over the speaker in a store, that one never gets old.
He loved his daughters a great deal, and it seemed obvious from the way he treated them.
He was always kind to me even if I spent the day accidentally breaking things around his house. I am sure that everyone who knew him will miss him.
I'm sorry I couldn't make it down to be with you during this sad time, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Good ol'Days!
Rick was the best Coach, a baseball player could ask for. He was the soft spoken coach who could encourage us, push us to the gold in ever game! I remember the one year that he said to all of us girls that if we had won the Regionals that we could Dye his hair Blue and Green the colours of our team needless to say we won. I hope to get a picture up here of that! I have a ton of them. Rick looked good with Blue Bingo dabbed hair. All of us girls got to put in a streak or two! Rick did have much hair to dye but what we found we coloured LOL! I will never forget Rick. And I send my love and prayers and condolences to the Au coin Family! I am so sorry for your Loss Laura! If you need me i am here !

To Anne and David:
It is impossible to think of Richard and not think of all the mischief he used to get into as a kid. I will always remember the laughter he brought into our lives when he visited Cap Le Moyne. May he rest in peace. The girls don't know me but please let them know that I am thinking of them, and will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Dorella.

We are sending our deepest sympathy to all of you girls. Your Dad was very proud of each and everyone of you. We admired him as a great friend. We lost touch but know his name was brought up every so often when we would reminess. Rick you are in a good place but please know that our hearts are with your girls and you will be missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace.

A Shining Example
Rick & I go way back to when we attended high school together. He was always a "Gentleman" which wasn't the style in those "Macho Macho Man" times. Others seemed like "Thugs" but never Rick. He had "Class!"
Later we became reconnect via our daughter's & their rowing days. Rick was quick to offer help to everybody in any way. He was so involed with his girls. I admired and respected him for that. He was a true Dad. For me he was a shining example of when God created "Mankind" My deepest sympathy. My thoughts and prayers are with you Diana, Jen, Laura & yours.Love Debra xoxo
