Obituary of Stefania Kocijowskyj

Kocijowskyj, Stefania (nee Dembicky) - Peacefully on Sunday March 31 at Garden City Manor in her 87th year. Cherished wife to Mykola for over 65 years. Loving Mama to Jerry (Barbara) of Oakville and Bohdan (Annette). Dear Baba to Sonia (Omari) of Brampton, Genie; Great Baba to Riley and Lillie. Beloved sister to Hania Halchak, Olya Dembicky other family members in Western Ukraine. Stefania was very proud of her heritage and was fond of traditional cooking, embroidery, and singing folk songs. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Panachyda will be said in the funeral home at 6:30pm. Divine Liturgy will be held at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church, 14 Rolls Avenue, on Friday at 10am with burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church Building Fund.
