Obituary of Evelyn Constance Fortune

FORTUNE, Evelyn Unexpectedly at her home on April 5th at the age of 58. Much loved mother of Jonathan (Katie McNeish) Fortune and Justin (Carlee Holland) Fortune , and loving "Nane" of Owen. She will be missed by her companion of many years Harry McMurray. Cherished sister of Anne Horvath and Fern (Clayton) McGregor of St. Catharines, and Emily (Roy) Elliott, and Charles Fortune of Nova Scotia. She will be forever missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents John and Elizabeth Fortune, and her brothers Albert, Eugene, Wilson, Hugh and Allan Fortune. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Evelyn's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, April 12th from 11am-12:45pm. A Memorial Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1pm with a private inurnment will be held in Nova Scotia at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
