Obituary of Adolfina Srokowski

SROKOWSKI, Ada Peacefully after a short struggle on Monday, April 8th at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 72. Cherished wife for 53 years of Wit and much loved mother of Derek and his wife Ala. Devoted Grandmother (Babcia) of Chloe, Charlie and Alicja. Also survived by her sister Helena of Poland, and her many cousins, nieces and nephews. With her husband Wit, Ada ran the popular "Ada's Deli" in Hamilton. Mrs. Srokowski's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Thursday, April 11th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday evening at 7:30pm. A Funeral Liturgy will take place on Friday, April 12th at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate Street at 10am. Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery, with a reception to follow at the Canadian Polish Society Hall, 43 Facer St., St. Catharines. If desired, memorial donations to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church would be appreciated by the family.
