Obituary of Delia Boscaro
BOSCARO, Delia- Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 7th, 2013 at St. Catharines Place in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Valterino. Cherished mother of Lori (Angelo) Mirabella and Oriana (David) Cecchi. Beloved Nonna to her grandchildren Tina Mirabella (Randy Conlon) and Mark Mirabella (Christina Risi) and great grandchildren Ally and Michael Conlon, and Noelle, Cayla and Brayden Mirabella. Step grandmother to Matthew, Brianne (Michael Reis and Ceira), Jordan and Alivia Cecchi. She will be fondly remembered by her sister Nella Troiani who resides in Milan, Italy. Delia is predeceased by her siblings Luigi, Lilia, and Dina. Delia was a vibrant, loving and generous woman who valued her family above all else. She lit up a room with her smile and filled the hearts of many with her kindness. She enjoyed singing, cooking and reading; but most of all, she relished the opportunity to help others and bring joy to the lives of her family and friends. Many thanks are extended to the fabulous staff at St. Catharines Place who took such loving care of Delia. She made many wonderful friends there who enriched her life during the last few years. Mrs. Boscaro is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. The family will receive visitors on Sunday from 2p.m.- 4:30p.m. & 7p.m.-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Sunday at 4p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Parish on Monday at 9a.m.Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
