Obituary of Eddie Fred Chiborak

CHIBORAK, Eddie Fred Passed away peacefully on Sunday March 17, 2013 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 79th year. Beloved husband to Donna for 57 years. Missed dearly by his children Dawn Marie Hargrove and Michael Vincent (Lisa) Chiborak.Cherished grandpa to Robyn Cole Chiborak and Matthew Reid Chiborak. Fondly remembered by his brothers William (Mary) and Alec (Mary), brothers in laws Graham (Gerry) Claus and Frank Claus, and sister in law Janice Claus. Predeceased by sister Elsie Lyttle. Eddie's love of minor hockey and other sports was very evident in his every day life. He was always willing to give a cheerful helping hand whenever needed. Special thanks to Ken, Charlene, Apryl, and Lacey Gill, and the nurses and doctors for their care at the St. Catharines General Hospital Oncology department. Eddie and the family would also like to thank Barry Murphy and Gord DePass for all their friendship and support over the years. At Eddie's request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life and inurnment will follow at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Donations to the Falcons Junior B Hockey Education Scholarship Fund would be much appreciated by the family.
