Obituary of Harriet Darlene Pigott

Pigott, Harriet "Honey" - (1955 to 2013) Surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis in the early hours of January 8, 2013 at the St. Catharines General Hospital. She leaves behind her best friend and devoted husband Brian, who cared for her unconditionally throughout their lives. As Honey would say her "best work" was her 3 children; Brian (Stefanie), Kimberly (Tristan Stahl) and Courtney (Wally O'Connell). She leaves behind her mother Harriet Henry and her loving brothers Bill (Betti) Henry, Bob (Nancy) Henry, and George (Jackie) Henry. Her in-laws Peggy and Jim Simpson, and sister-in-law Christine Maxwell. She was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews; Eryn Henry, Barb Larmet, Matt Henry, James (Sherry) Henry, George Henry, Hattie (Scott) Campbell, Ben Henry, David Maxwell, and Jennifer Maxwell. Also her great nephews and nieces; Spence Henry and Jeffery Larmet, Eric and Vicki Larmet. Honey was predeceased by her father William Henry, and her nephew Billy Henry. We would like to give a very special mention to her two life long best friends Audrey Fehlow and Denise Pickard, whom she loved like family. BUZZ. Additionally, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to the many support workers from Pro Wellness and CCAC who helped Honey over her long battle. Specifically we would like to thank Shirley, Christine, Linda, Lora, and Tina. You are all very special people, and your kindess in keeping our prized possession happy, safe and loved will never be forgotten. Honey loved to travel the world and made a lot of friends along the way. People loved to share their joys, and their troubles with her. She was a good listener and did not judge. She was a selfless and caring individual who always put others first. It is her unique sense of humour, and playfulness that will be missed most of all. At Honey's request, there will be a private celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation or MS Society. Arrangements are entrusted to the George Darte Funeral Home, 905-937-4444.
