Obituary of Dorothy Alma Filipetti

Filipetti, Dorothy - Surrounded by her family on January 10, 2013 at Henley House at the age of 83 years. Loving mom of Terry Jr., Mary Roger, and Dean. Cherished Grandma of Brittany and Bryson. Beloved sister of Betty (Len), Barry (Jean), and Blaine (Cookie). Also survived by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her loving husband Terry (1996) of 43 years, daughter Wendy (1967) and other family members. Dorothy was a member of the Club Roma Women's Auxillary; a fabulous Italian cook; an avid curler; loved to entertain for her family and friends. Special thanks to the NHS staff, especially to Dr. Stephanie Phillips for the care given to our mom. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Tuesday from 3-8pm and Wednesday from 10-11am. A Funeral Service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 11am. Burial will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
