I only got to know Matt slightly from seeing him and Gisele in the Lake Street Tim Horton's when I went there on some weekday mornings with my parents, who have known them for some time, but I always enjoyed his company. I'm glad to have known him, and will miss him. They'll be enjoying his guitar up there!
