Obituary of Bill Spence

SPENCE, Bill It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Bill on Tuesday, January 1st, 2013 after his courageous struggle with cancer. Bill has gone to join his beloved wife, Ellen, his daughter Carol, and his son Billy. Loving father of Heather Spence-Goulet. Cherished Granda of Stephanie, Neil, Sarah and Laurel. Great Granda to Carter. Bill will also be missed by family in Scotland. In accordance with Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Wednesday, January 9th from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Bill's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, January 10th at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
