Obituary of Margaret Joy Dawidek

DAWIDEK, Margaret Joy Passed away peacefully while surrounded by family, on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013 at Albright Manor in her 82nd year. Beloved wife for 62 years of Cass and loving mother of Barbara (Douglas) Birchnall, Doreen (Russell) Dick and Mary (Matthew Asser) Dawidek. Much loved Grandma of Donna (James) Nicol, Edward (Christine) Birchnall, David (Andrea Apa) Dick, Heather Joy Dick, Jared Asser and Kate Asser. Cherished great grandmother to Amanda Polly, Jacob, Alexandre and Emilie Birchnall. Predeceased by her brother Reginald Kempster. Joy will be sadly missed by her entire family. The family extends a sincere thanks to the caring staff of Albright Manor and Dr. Juta for their care and compassion. Joy's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street on Sunday, January 6th from 2-4pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street on Monday, January 7th at 11 am. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 3:30 pm. Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto would be appreciated by the family.
