Obituary of Nelson Silva

SILVA Nelson - It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dearly loved husband, father and tata, at Heidehof Home on Thursday, December 6th, 2012 at 71 years of age. Beloved husband of Ana (Dolly) for 45 wonderful years. Cherished father of Claudia (Darren), Nelson (Flor)of Chile, devoted tata of Dillon, Devinne Andres,and Noelle. Dear brother of Perli of Chile and Ruth in Canada. Brother in law of Maria Silva. Nelson will always be lovingly remembered by his many special nieces, nephews, family and friends in Chile and Canada. Nelson was employed with the Niagara District School Board for many years as a custodian where he enjoyed being with the children. He was also employed at he paper mill in Chile before coming to Canada in 1974. Cremation has taken place. Nelsons family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. on Monday from 7-9 pm. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11 am. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. The family wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caring staff of Heidehof and to Dr. O'Reilly for their compassion and care during this difficult time.
