I remember the delicious food she used to make; during the time I was on exchange, I tried a lot of different dishes. One funny memory I have is when she asked me if the legal age in Mexico was 16, and I casually said, 'Yes, of course.' The legal age in Mexico is actually 18, but since I was 17 at the time, it was easy for me not to correct her. Seriously, anyone who had the chance to meet Carlyn knows that she leaves a lasting impression. Always happy, always positive. Thank you, Canadian mom, for the time we spent together. Rest in peace.
