We want to inform our community that Garden City Funerals and Cremations, located at 39 Court St. in St. Catharines (previously Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel), has recently closed its operations.
We are very excited to announce that Darte Family Funeral and Cremation Centre, working in partnership with George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, will be assuming responsibility for all existing prearrangements previously held by Garden City Funerals and Cremations.

Your prearrangement has been transferred to Darte Family Funeral and Cremation Centre. It will be honoured exactly as originally agreed upon. All terms, conditions, and services outlined in your contract remain valid.
You do not need to change anything. Your prepaid arrangements will be honoured at Darte Family Funeral and Cremation Centre, located at 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines.
Yes. We will be in touch with all prearrangement holders to confirm the transfer of their contracts and ensure all information is current and accurate. We will reach out using the contact information on file with your original arrangement.
