Obituary of Jean Arthur Roy

Roy, Jean A. - Passed away peacefully in the presence of his beloved family at his home at the age of 78. Cherished husband to Louisette (nee Lefort) for over 47 years. Devoted father to Alain (Angie), Louis (Angela), and Francis (Maxine). Loving grandfather to Ethan, Dylan, Camden and Toby. Will be fondly remembered by his siblings Rita (Bill) Ball, Gilbert (Yvonne), Denise (Bob) Jameson, and many family members and close friends. Predeceased by his brothers Andre and Denis. Jean worked at AECL as a technician in Chalk River, ON for over 35 years. He was involved in the church council and the Scouting movement for many years.

Family and friends are invited to gather at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street on Saturday between 10 - 11am. Funeral liturgy will take place at 11am at the church with cremation to follow. A memorial service will take place at a later date in 2018, followed by a burial at St. Anthony's R.C. Cemetery in Chalk River. Memorial donations to 1st St. Catharines Scouts Group or Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
